As a recent victim of unauthorised use on my PayPal account, though quickly resolved by the company, I am all too aware of internet security at the moment.

The whole campaign is missing a dedicated website. Maybe a game or two. Instead, we’ve got a tourist website with YouTube videos slapped on the end. Shame.

Another in the Dave Visits Skåne, Sweden mini-series.

Last time, Dave wandered the Swedish countryside. This time, Dave considers art and architecture in perhaps the most technically impressive clip so far.

Still not that impressed by these clips other than in the combination of cartoon and reality. They’re not bad. But they’re nothing to write home about- even from Skåne itself.

I can’t help but wonder how the Who Killed Summer? campaign is getting on in terms of views.

It’s back for episode 9 of around 20. Don’t forget about it or it will go away.

Episodic campaigns like this should be doing well. Freak on MySpace has good viewing figures and Maybeline recently signed up Sex and the City writer, Candace Bushnell, to write them a story for one.

I would guess that very few mobile phone videos that make it on to YouTube from the area that I live in are not ‘happy slap’ themed in some way.

Recently, some old flats got blown up and- to my surprise- there were a number of videos online within an hour.

Unfortunately, I was not there to see it happen but I was able to watch in stunning HD. Thank you internet.

With over 1,000 views already this is a must watch for anyone from around the area, or who just likes watching buildings being blown up.

The first in a series of animated clips made by VisitSweden, Dave- the foul-mouthed British tourist- ponders life on the beach.

Not sure what to think of this one. Maybe it’s a grower?

Poor Em didn’t realise her boyfriend was on holiday or, rather, hadn’t listened when her boyfriend told her he was off to go backpack around Europe for a fortnight.

Is it just me who thinks, with a bit of fine tuning, this would make a fantastic viral campaign for a mobile phone company? Maybe something to do with roaming charges?

Like colour or super-cool special characters in MSN names, the need to be different has spanned social media since its not-so-humble beginnings. Now, Ben and Jerry’s are turning social networking on its head- literally.

A new application for Facebook allows users to turn their statuses 180 degrees and display it upside down.

It’s a simple idea they’re using to promote their new Flipped Out sundaes range.

Keep an eye out for upside down text across all social media. @Mashable have already been promoting their coverage of the story with upside down tweets.

If there is an online water cooler, this will be on the agenda for discussion for at least a few days.
