The viral campaign that is “generating excitement across the web” seems to be falling foul of inaccessibility. For Vodafone’s sake, we hope we’re wrong.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center has issued a Tsunami Warning for New Zealand after a 7.8-magnitude earthquake.

Sarah Palin has resigned just shy of Independence day. Some speculate this may be due to a scandal about to hit. BoV thinks there will be much viral discussion in the coming days.

The King of Pop has died aged 50. Interestingly, it was online media, and not traditional media, that broke the story with the news going viral in a matter of hours.

Perhaps the only place to build up a true picture of last week’s Iranian election was Twitter. With wide bans on journalistic freedom, the social networking site became a hotbed of citizen reportage.

Twitter has seen itself at the forefront of a lawsuit recently that has caused the social network to introduce verified accounts. People posing as celebrities and public figureheads can damage reputations and it is this that Twitter has fallen foul of.
